CamSoda review: Group Shows, toys and every other format, and how safe it is

Most cam sites give you two choices once a room catches your eye: keep watching for free, or go private. CamSoda gives you half a dozen, and the one it is known for sits right between those two.

This CamSoda review starts with that middle door, because it changes how an evening feels. The site has been run since 2014 by Secure Live Media, LLC, a company based in Miami Beach, Florida. At 3:38 in the afternoon New York time on October 15, 2026, its public room list showed 1,590 models online. Of those, 1,504 took private shows, 10 were streaming in VR and 9 were running a Golden Ticket show. The interface comes in 11 languages, and filters sort the floor by the language the model speaks, by region, by private rate and by the price of toy control.

Late on a Sunday, a room you have been watching for free changes its screen. Group Show in Progress, it reads, with a Join button underneath. You press it. Nobody announces you; the chat keeps its pace, the light in the room stays low, and you notice you have stopped scrolling. If the evening turns, you leave the way you came in, and the meter stops with you.

The Group Show, and every other door

That middle door is the Group Show. Several people share the same show at the model’s rate per minute, charged every 10 seconds, with no ticket to buy and nothing promised in advance. You join when you like, you leave when you like, and billing stops the moment you go. It is the easiest way to get closer than a public room without the weight of a private.

Around it, CamSoda lines up the full set, and each one tells you what you are walking into before it starts:

• A private, at 6 to 120 tokens a minute, where the model talks to you alone. Before it begins, a window shows the model’s rating, the rate or the up-front cost of any minimum, and whether Cam2Cam and a recording come with it.
• An exclusive private, where nobody can spy and the room is closed to everyone but you.
• Spy, to watch someone else’s private from the doorway without joining in.
• A Golden Ticket show: one fixed price for a limited show, often with a countdown, and you can still buy your way in once it has started.
• Cam2Cam inside a private, with video and sound or sound only, at no extra cost, so the model sees you or simply hears you. In a public room, Share Cam sends the model your video without sound, by the minute.

A Golden Ticket is counting down on the homepage. You take your seat with a few minutes left and watch the room fill with people who did the same. The chat slows, the model checks the clock with a half smile, and by the time the counter reaches zero, nobody is typing.

Models also run Private Specials, a lower rate for a limited time; start your private while it lasts and you keep that rate until the end. A free one-minute match lets you share your camera with a new model and see whether the spark is there before going private.

Two ways to drive a toy, and rooms in VR

You tip, and a second later the whole room sees it land. The model looks up, finds your name in the chat and thanks you by it, and for a moment everyone knows who that was.

CamSoda splits toy control in two. With the first mode, you tip the amount the model asks and a controller appears in the chat, so you choose the intensity for a fixed stretch of time. Cruise Control keeps the controls in your hands until you press Finish, vibration patterns included at no extra cost, with tokens taken each minute. A plain tip inside the model’s levels sets the toy off too.

VR needs nothing to install. In a room streaming in VR, the headset icon on the video opens vr.camsoda.com, a launcher where VR rooms come first, marked 3D VR. The help center lists the Meta Quest 2, 3 and Pro, the Apple Vision Pro, the HTC Vive, the Valve Index and the HP Reverb, and an Android phone in a Cardboard viewer switches on its own. Inside the headset you can still go private, buy a Golden Ticket or spin the prize wheel.

What keeps people coming back

CamSoda keeps a room playful. Small games sit beside the stream: a wheel, a slot machine, dice and a scratch card, each asking you to confirm before a tip leaves your balance. In a Versus, two models share a split screen and the one who collects more tips takes the round, so the chat picks a side. Every 60 seconds the site crowns a Soda Star, the model who earned the most in the last minute. On a phone, you swipe sideways to drift from one room to the next.

Fan clubs are where a favorite becomes a habit. They come in three tiers. The middle one, Insider, lets you spy on the model’s privates for free; the top one, Legend, opens that model’s Golden Ticket shows to you, with the recording kept in your club tab. When the model has switched recording on, your private lands in My Media once the show ends, and you can also buy a recording of a public show, from 5 to 30 minutes. Premium removes the ads, opens private messages, and lets you browse invisibly and tip anonymously.

Longtime viewers explain the pull in plain terms. One calls CamSoda a favorite among cam sites, for its friendly models and a support team that answers at any hour. Another, who gives it four stars out of five, finds more to do there than elsewhere, a layout that is easy on the eyes and streams that rarely stutter. And someone who watches across several sites likes how many CamSoda models keep in touch with the people who follow them.

CamSoda suits the viewer whose mood changes during the night and wants a format for each turn, from a free room to a seat in a crowd to a door that closes behind you. The sites on the right each go further on one thing.

Models pick their private rate from fixed levels, and the public price filter shows how they spread. That afternoon, 433 rooms asked 6 tokens a minute, 304 asked 12, 249 asked 18 and 316 asked 30; above that, rooms thinned out quickly. The median was 18 tokens:

Those 180 tokens come from the 200-token pack at $20.99, which holds 210 with its bonus. At 6 tokens a minute, ten minutes cost about $6.59. An exclusive private runs 12 to 150 tokens a minute, and spy 6 to 90. A Group Show bills the model’s rate only for the seconds you are in it, and a Golden Ticket on the homepage that day asked 99 tokens, about $10.88. New members also saw 300 tokens offered at half price, once per account. Watching public rooms costs nothing.

Following one model closely lowers the bill. Insider, the middle fan club tier, takes 10% off privates and exclusives, and Legend, the top one, takes 25% off and lets you into that model’s Golden Ticket shows for free. Premium, for the whole site, costs $19.95 a month and adds 200 tokens once.

Paying, and what shows on your statement

A free account takes a username and a password, with email optional, or a Google sign-in. Tokens come through the Add Tokens button. A US address can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Maestro or JCB, by PayPal, in Bitcoin or Ethereum, with gift cards from 52 US retailers, or by wire and money order.

CamSoda’s name stays off your statement. Depending on the processor, you will see:

• EPOCH.COM *SECURELIVE, for PayPal payments handled by Epoch
• the processor’s own name for cards: Epoch, Segpay, CCBill, or csoda-bill.com for Rocketgate

The safety guide calls it securelive or similar, with no adult wording. Epoch answers US callers at 1-800-893-8871 and Segpay at 1-866-450-4000.

Every account has limits on how much it can buy in a given period; verifying your identity after a first purchase raises them. If your account spends on Token Credit, you set the daily limit yourself in Settings. Easy Re-ups, the automatic top-up, is offered at checkout and switches off under Settings & Privacy.

Token purchases are final once delivered, except for double billing, technical errors, unauthorized transactions and fraud. What works in your favor: if a model ends a private before the minimum you paid for, the rest comes back automatically; a custom video not delivered within 14 days is refunded; and a public recording cut short returns the difference. Premium stops with one button on the Membership page, followed by a confirmation email.

Is CamSoda legit and safe?

CamSoda is run by Secure Live Media, LLC, which keeps its 18 U.S.C. 2257 records in Miami Beach, Florida. The terms send disputes to arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules in Miami-Dade County. The site has streamed since 2014, carries the RTA label, belongs to ASACP and keeps a support team on email and live chat 24 hours a day. CamSoda has no data breach on the public record.

Payments go through processors certified to PCI DSS Level 1, and CamSoda never stores your full card number. Two-factor sign-in works with an authenticator app or a code sent by email. ID documents sent for an age check are encrypted and seen only by the compliance team, and a model sees your camera only when you choose to share it. With Premium, Invisible Mode hides your presence from everyone in the room.

The risk worth watching for is a stranger who wants to move your chat to another app, then threatens to send images of you around unless you pay. Do not pay and do not answer. Block the account from the chat, keep the messages and read our sextortion guide for what to do next.
