How we rate

Updated October 16, 2026

Each score answers one question: is the offer complete and good, and will you get your money's worth? That is why the offer counts for half of it. Whether the site is legit and safe, and what it really costs, share the other half.

The three criteria

What you get: 50%

The offer itself. How big the catalogue is (rooms live, counted on a dated reading); the kinds of shows (free, private, exclusive, group, cam2cam, ticket shows); the quality on offer (HD, VR); and the features a site has of its own, such as interactive toys, recorded private shows, previews, a questionnaire that suggests models, several rooms on one screen or chat translation.

Legit & safe: 25%

Who runs the site and under which law; public incidents (data breaches, regulator actions) and what was fixed; a discreet line on your bank statement; a spending limit; two-factor sign-in; a clear refund rule; and an age check that follows the law where you are.

Value for money: 25%

What ten minutes of private show cost (calculated, see below); what you can watch for free; the first-purchase bonus; and the costs that are easy to miss, such as PayPal fees, a fee on every purchase or tokens that expire.

The scale and the math

• Each criterion is rated from 7 to 10, in half points.
• The score, out of 100, is What you get × 5, plus Legit & safe × 2.5, plus Value for money × 2.5, rounded to the nearest whole number (a half rounds up). For Stripchat: 10 × 5 + 8.5 × 2.5 + 10 × 2.5 = 96.25, so 96.
• The floor is 70. A site that would score under 70 does not go on the shelf.
• Ten minutes of private show are a calculation, not a bill: each site's usual rate per minute, times ten, at the price of one token or credit in a reference pack. Models set their own rates, so the figure is a fair comparison, not a promise. The rate and pack behind each figure are in the table below.

The role of the commission

The Cam Verdict earns a commission when you join or buy through its paid links (marked Ad). The commission never enters the score; it only breaks ties for placement, and we say so. When two sites have the same score, the one that pays us more appears first. A site never appears ahead of a higher score because it pays more.

Today this happens once: Jerkmate, MyFreeCams and CAM4 share 83, in that order. The order follows the earnings per click of each site's program, read on September 28, 2026. Details are in the advertising disclosure.

Where you live

What a site asks for before you get in depends on your state or country. In a US state without an age verification law it is usually one click on an 18+ notice; in the states that have one, and in the UK and Australia, it is often an age check. Every case shows it, dated, and it stays outside the score. What you can watch for free is judged as a visitor sees it in a US state without such a law, and an account or an ID check that a law requires takes nothing away from a score.

Where the facts come from

We don't test; we read official pages, terms and dated prices. Grant Ellis does not use the platforms: a score sums up documents, not a personal experience, and no page says otherwise.

• Official pages: price grids, terms of service, help centers, privacy policies.
• What a visitor sees on arrival without an account, from residential connections in identified US states, and from the UK, Canada and Australia (October 13, 2026).
• Dated public sources: regulators, court records, press reports.

The offer and the prices behind these scores were read on October 15, 2026, between 19:26 and 20:05 UTC (US afternoon), the ten sites in the same window so the room counts compare. Four figures come from older or third-party readings, each dated in the table below: the Chaturbate price grid (a signed-in purchase page, October 4, 2026), the LiveJasmin and CAM4 price grids (third-party readings of September 13 and September 20, 2026) and the Jerkmate rate per minute (third-party readings, 2024 to 2026). User reviews are not part of the score.

Ten minutes of private show

In US dollars, calculated from each site's usual rate and a reference pack. It feeds Value for money and appears in the fine print on the home page.

When scores change

Prices are checked every month and the ranking every quarter, or sooner when a site changes something that matters: a new age check in a state or country, a payment method added or dropped, a public incident. Every change of score updates the date of this page and of the review concerned.
