Stripchat review: the biggest live floor, VR in your headset, tokens in dollars

What you get on Stripchat

You settle the headset, open its browser and type the address. A grid of rooms hangs in the air in front of you. You pick one, press Enter VR, and the walls of your living room give way to someone else’s, close enough that you lower your voice without thinking, though nobody can hear you.

That is one way into Stripchat, and the one no other big site in our catalogue does as well. This Stripchat review starts there because it sums up the site: more ways in, and more rooms behind each one. Stripchat is run by Technius Ltd, a company registered in Cyprus, and has streamed since 2016. On October 15, 2026, between 3:30 and 3:35 in the afternoon Eastern, its homepage counted between 12,400 and 12,650 live rooms depending on the state it was read from, the largest in our catalogue. Couples hosted about 690 of them, and models who speak Spanish more than 3,700. The site itself comes in 34 languages.

VR from the headset’s browser

Stripchat’s help center is clear on the point that matters: VR needs no app and no download. You open the site in your headset’s own browser and tap Enter VR. Meta Quest headsets and the Apple Vision Pro are the recommended ones, with the Valve Index, HTC Vive Pro, HP Reverb, Pico 4 and Android phones in a Cardboard viewer also on the list. On October 15, 175 rooms were broadcasting in VR.

One VR regular, in a room streamed at 6K, said it felt like being in the same space. That is the surprise of VR done this way: after a minute you forget the headset.

Privates you can keep

A public room is free to watch, and on a floor this size the hard part is choosing where to stay. When one room wins, the ways to have the model to yourself are many, and the rate always shows before you go in, from 8 tokens a minute for a private:

• A private, where only you talk to the model; others may spy if the model allows it.
• An exclusive, where nobody can spy, with Cam2Cam as an option.
• Cam2Cam on its own, where the model sees and hears you.
• Spy, with the first 15 seconds of each show free once you hold tokens.

A room on your list has gone private. You look in through the spy window, and for fifteen seconds it is like standing at a door left ajar: a voice, a laugh, a conversation that is not yours yet. Enough to know you will be back when it ends.

When the model has turned recording on, a line in the room tells you the show can be saved. At the end you press Save, and the video waits in My Collection, in up to 720p, to watch as often as you like; it stays on Stripchat and is not downloaded to your device. After an exclusive, you are the only one who keeps a copy, and the terms say a show you bought stays yours even if the model later deletes the account. On October 15, 6,723 live rooms allowed it.

The private ends the way good evenings do, a little sooner than you wanted. The model says goodnight, and the Save button waits at the bottom of the screen. You press it, and the evening is still there tomorrow.

More than one member goes back to saved privates long after the show, even after the model has stopped streaming. One regular sums it up: most models allow it, and you can play a show again as many times as you want.

Toys and shared shows

This is where a public room comes alive. Toys connected to Lovense or Kiiroo were live in 4,787 rooms that afternoon, so a tip shows in the room the moment it lands, and when a model turns on full control, a tip hands you the slider for a while. Group shows split a private at a lower rate per minute among as many people as join: you reserve a seat for free, pay only once it starts, and come and go as you like. Ticket shows charge one fixed price, announced in advance. More than 7,900 rooms were tagged HD, and a low-latency mode cuts the delay to half a second, so the model answers your line in the chat almost as you send it.

A model can also set a minimum length for a private. If you leave early, you pay that minimum; if the model ends the show, you pay only the minutes you watched.

Memberships and small extras

Fan clubs bring you closer to a favorite. They come in three tiers priced by each model, for 3, 6 or 12 months, with club photos and videos, private messages and sometimes free spying. Ultimate, Stripchat’s own membership, is what lets you write to models in private, with their messages translated for you automatically, and it adds an invisible mode, anonymous tips, previews when you hover over a room, a dedicated support chat around the clock and a new username every 90 days. It includes no tokens, and some card packs come with a free 7-day trial. You can also send someone tokens or an exclusive private as a gift through a link. On a phone, Stripchat installs from the site as a web app for iOS and Android.

The invisible mode has its fans. One Ultimate member likes it so much they never switch it off.

Who Stripchat is for, and who should look elsewhere

If you want choice above all, or a headset that finally has somewhere to go, Stripchat is the default pick. Each name on the right does one thing differently, and that is the only reason to go there first.

What Stripchat really costs

Stripchat sells tokens in packs, and the grid is public. This is what a US card was offered on October 15, 2026, in dollars with no tax added; the 200-token pack is the one the window preselects.

Tokens (bonus included)	By card, per token	Same price by PayPal
45	$4.99 ($0.111)	40 tokens
90	$9.99 ($0.111)	80 tokens
200 (10 bonus)	$20.99 ($0.105)	180 tokens
540 (90 bonus)	$49.99 ($0.093)	460 tokens
765 (135 bonus)	$69.99 ($0.091)	660 tokens
1,350 (270 bonus)	$119.99 ($0.089)	1,160 tokens
2,350 (550 bonus)	$199.99 ($0.085)	2,005 tokens

Crypto follows the card grid and goes higher, down to about 8 cents a token on the largest packs. A wire starts at $500 for 5,882 tokens, and gift cards from dozens of US brands buy any amount you choose.

Rates per minute are posted in each room and in a public filter, and each format has its own range, set by the model:

• a private, from 8 to 150 tokens a minute, and an exclusive at the same range;
• Cam2Cam on its own, from 8 to 250 tokens a minute;
• spy, from 4 to 60 tokens a minute;
• a ticket show, one fixed price from 8 to 1,000 tokens.

On October 15, the busiest band was 8 to 12 tokens, with 4,538 rooms, ahead of 16 to 24 tokens with 2,619. At the top of that first band:

Paid through PayPal, the same 120 tokens come to about $13.99. At the floor of 8 tokens a minute, ten minutes cost about $8.40, and spying from 4 tokens a minute costs half that. Ultimate, the membership, costs $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year by card. Public shows and their chat cost nothing, and neither does the hourly draw.

Sites that offer free Stripchat tokens through a generator, a download or a survey are scams, and Stripchat’s own token page says so. The only free tokens come from the official draw and the bonuses in Stripchat’s own window.

Paying, and what shows on your statement

You can open an account with an email, Google or X, and nothing is charged until you buy tokens through the green plus button. Payment methods offered to a US address: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Discover cards, PayPal, gift cards from dozens of US brands through PayGarden, crypto through CoinGate, and a bank wire from $500.

The billing name is never Stripchat’s. By card it is usually:

• Paymentico
• EPOCH.COM *Technius, the second processor

PayPal payments go through one or the other, and Stripchat’s help center adds SegpayEU.com-TechChat, centrobill.com and Technius Ltd to the list. Paymentico answers US callers at 1-855-877-7020 and Epoch at 1-800-893-8871.

Packs are prepaid, so a show stops when your balance runs out. Automatic top-up stays off until you turn it on, and even then it cannot run more than four times in 24 hours.

If you change your mind, Stripchat can refund your last package when you paid by card or PayPal less than 30 days ago and have not spent the tokens. A complaint about a show goes in within 48 hours. Tips count as gifts and stay with the model.

Is Stripchat legit and safe?

Stripchat belongs to Technius Ltd, registered in Cyprus under number HE349515, and its terms are governed by Cypriot law. The site launched in May 2016 and keeps a help center of 301 articles in English.

Where the law asks, Stripchat verifies ages before showing its full rooms. In South Dakota, Alabama, Missouri and Florida on October 15, the banner read that verification takes 15 seconds, is required by state law, and keeps no personal data on Stripchat’s side. On June 26, 2025, Ofcom named Stripchat among the large services committed to checking ages in the UK. In November 2021, a Stripchat database was left exposed online and was closed within two days; it held no passwords or card numbers.

Two-factor sign-in through Google Authenticator has been on offer since 2019, and Stripchat asks for the code whenever a login looks suspicious; more than 10 wrong codes lock the account for 30 minutes. Deleting your account takes a few clicks, and it can be restored for 18 months. Ultimate members can also browse invisibly, until they type or tip.

The danger that matters most rarely comes from the site itself. If a stranger from a room pushes you toward a social app or a private video call, then threatens to send images of you around unless you pay, do not pay and stop answering. Keep the messages, report the profile and read our sextortion guide for what comes next.

Access from your state or country

Stripchat reads your location and applies the local rule. These are the screens on record.

Where you are	What Stripchat asks	Seen on
US states with an age verification law (South Dakota, Alabama, Missouri, Florida)	Rooms show a toned-down version until you verify your age	Oct 15
Other US states (New York, Pennsylvania)	One click on I’m Over 18	Oct 15
United Kingdom	Age verification, “Required by UK law”	Oct 13
Australia	Age verification, “Required by Australian law”	Oct 13

The rooms are the same everywhere; in the UK the packs are priced in pounds, 210 tokens for £20.99 where a US card pays $20.99 for 200. The rules behind each check are laid out on our page about age verification in your state or country.
